Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of HerdMate (Farmsystem) when you use herdmate.farmsystem.com.au. The privacy policy is part of this.

1. The product

HerdMate is record-keeping software for dairy reproduction: bull recommendations, FTAI protocols, runs, and a calendar. It is not veterinary advice, genetic advice, or a guarantee of conception, calving ease, or audit outcomes.

2. Accounts

You must give true farm and user details. You are responsible for who you let log in. Each farm’s data is separate. Do not try to open another farm’s records.

3. Fees

The published price is A$39 per month or A$390 per year per farm, unless we agree something else in writing. Payment is through Stripe. Cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Fees are in Australian dollars. Tax treatment follows Stripe and Australian law — we do not give tax advice.

4. Your records

You own the farm records you enter. You licence us to store and process them to run the service. You must not upload data you have no right to use. We may remove content that is unlawful or that threatens the service.

5. Availability

We aim to keep the site up. Hosting, internet, and bugs fail. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every planned module is live. Features on the public sidebar may still be in build.

6. Offline

The Android app can keep a copy of herd records on the phone. The website needs a connection. You are responsible for not relying on a save that has not reached the server.

7. Liability

To the extent Australian Consumer Law allows, we are not liable for lost pregnancies, lost semen, missed injections, or business loss from using or not being able to use HerdMate. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupply of the service or the fees you paid in the last 12 months, whichever the law requires.

8. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service and cancel in Stripe. We may suspend or close an account for non-payment, abuse, or legal risk. After closure we may delete records as described in the privacy policy.

9. Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top will change. Continued use after a change is acceptance of the new terms for later use.
