Questions from the shed, not a brochure.
If the answer is “not yet”, we say that.
Does it replace Easy Dairy?
No. Easy Dairy stays the official herd file. HerdMate is for mating recommendations, FTAI runs, and the calendar. You can import a list. There is no live two-way sync yet.
Is it per cow or per user?
No. One farm, one plan. A$39 a month or A$390 a year. Unlimited cows on that farm. Unlimited logins on that farm.
Will it work with no internet?
You can install it as an app and cached pages still open. Saving a run or a bull edit needs a connection today. Offline write-queue is on the build list. Do not plan a dead-zone AI morning around it yet.
Who is it for?
A dairy that already AI’s, runs FTAI, and is tired of the mating spreadsheet in the crush. Built on a working NSW dairy. Design target is up to about 3,000 animals per farm.
Do I need an invite to register?
The current register screen asks for an invitation code. Subscribe on Pricing with Stripe, then log in or email us with the same address you paid with and we match the farm.
Is it veterinary advice?
No. Protocols, drugs, and bull choice are yours and your advisor’s. HerdMate stores what you enter. Check the cow and the label.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel in Stripe. You keep access until the period you paid for ends.
Where is the data?
On Hostinger, farm-scoped. One farm does not see another farm’s cows. See the privacy policy.
Do you take cards other than Visa?
Checkout is Stripe. Payment methods follow what is switched on in the Farm System Stripe dashboard — we do not hard-code card-only.
What is Field Notes?
Short pieces from the shed: crush lookup, weekend FTAI, looking in the tank. Not a journal and not a vet column.
